Church Leadership
Our Councils
The Councils are the primary decision-making authority responsible for directing the congregation’s mission, ministry, and daily operations between annual meetings. They are responsible to the congregation and ensure the church adheres to its vision, manages financial and property affairs, and supports staff.
The councils of the United Church work in relationship with each other in the spirit of the opening words of A New Creed: “We are not alone.”
